Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Berlin on 12-13 June 2017

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Berlin on 12-13 June 2017 to attend the High-Level Policy Forum on the new OECD Jobs Strategy. Read his opening remarks.


He will also present the OECD Employment Outlook 2017 at a press conference with Germany’s Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Ms. Andrea Nahles.


While in Berlin, the Secretary-General will also attend the International Conference “G20 Africa Partnership - Investing in a Common Future”, in the context of which he will deliver a keynote speech during the dinner hosted by Minister Schauble, gathering G20 and African Finance Ministers. He will also participate, on the occasion of the launch of the 2017 issue of the African Economic Outlook report, in a high-level roundtable on African development with the President of Rwanda, H.E. Paul Kagame, and the President of the African Development Bank, Mr. Akinwumi Adesina.
