Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in New York, 10 April 2019

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in New York on 10 April 2019 to attend the 6th Annual Meeting of International Organisations The Contribution of International Organisations to an International Rule Based System, where he delivered remarks at the Opening session, presenting the initial findings of the work by the IO Partnership. The Secretary-General also presented the new OECD report  Under Pressure: The Struggling Middle Class launching of the report, at an OECD/UNDP event.

 

While in New York, the Secretary-General met with Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, and  participated at a panel at the United Nations General Assembly to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the International Labour Organization (ILO): Shaping the Future of Work.
