Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, on official visit to Chile, 24-25 April 2016

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Chile on an official visit on 24-25 April 2016 and opened the BIAC-TUAC Consultations with the Bureau of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting.

 

In Santiago, the Secretary-General presented the OECD Regulatory Review of Chile, alongside Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, President of Chile and Mr. Luis Felipe Céspedes, Minister of Economy of Chile.

 

Mr. Gurría also held bilateral meetings with several Chilean authorities.

 

During his visit to Chile, the Secretary-General presented the OECD Latin America and the Caribbean Programme to Ambassadors at Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
