Expert Workshop on Adaptation Financing and Implementation, June 2014

This workshop held on 18-19 June 2014 focused on the challenge of putting priorities into practice in OECD countries.

This workshop covered national adaptation policy-making,including prioritisation and mainstreaming processes. The second day explored the questions of public sector finance for adaptation, followed by an interactive session on evidence gaps and research needs.

The event was co-sponsored by the ECONADAPT research project. It brought together over 50 participants, including leading adaptation experts from academic and private sectors, international organisations and agencies (such as UNDP, IFC, UNFCCC) and OECD country delegates.
