2025 OECD Business Survey on RBC: Strengthening due diligence in Latin America and the Caribbean

Due diligence is understood as the process businesses use to identify, prevent, and address actual or potential negative impacts from their activities or supply chains, integrating it into decision-making and risk management. Due diligence addresses actual adverse impacts or potential adverse impacts (risks) related to human rights, including workers’ rights and industrial relations, the environment, bribery and corruption, disclosure, and consumer interests.

Following the success of our first edition in 2021, this new survey aims to:

• Analyse the adoption of due diligence among businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean.

• Collect key data on the impact of emerging regulations, market demands, sustainability initiatives, and other factors driving due diligence practices. 

Your participation will contribute to shaping business policies, developing training programs, and strengthening sustainable practices in key sectors.

• Companies of all sizes, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

• Companies headquartered or operating in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

• Contribute to change: Help develop sustainable business policies and practices in the region.

• Stay informed: Learn about emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in RBC and due diligence.

• Align your strategies: Adapt your business to evolving market expectations and regulatory requirements.

The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. All responses are strictly confidential and will be used solely for statistical purposes. No company will be identified in the reports.
