The OECD will present its latest Economic Survey of South Africa on Thursday 5 June 2025. The Survey looks at the country’s recent performance and how it can revive per capita growth. The report also offers an in-depth analysis of how South Africa can reduce poverty, expand job creation and enhance the business environment, notably through a reliable provision of electricity, while ensuring adaptation to climate change.
OECD Head of Country Studies Luiz de Mello will present the Survey’s findings alongside South Africa’s Deputy Minister of Finance Ashor Sarupen at a launch event at 10:00 local time/10:00 CEST at the Marriott Hotel, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg.
Journalists can register to attend by emailing media@treasury.gov.za.
