Attracting, Developing and Retaining Effective Teachers - Reports on Mexico

 

In April 2002, the OECD launched a major project: "Attracting, Developing and Retaining Effective Teachers". It was a collaborative project, to assist governments with designing and implementing teacher policies to improve teaching and learning in schools. The project concluded in June 2005 with the release of a publication, Teachers Matter, a comprehensive, international analysis of trends and developments in the teacher workforce in 25 countries around the world.
