A two-day online event organised by
the OECD Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI)
12-13 January 2022 via Zoom
Agenda as of 11 January 2022
This two-day online event is organised as part of the CERI project “Teaching, Learning and Assessing Creativity and Critical Thinking in Education”. The first phase of the project looked at innovative teaching and assessment approaches to creativity and critical thinking in primary and secondary schools, and its findings are summarised in a report published in 2019. The second phase focusing on higher education is currently ongoing; pedagogical interventions have been made in 26 institutions across 14 countries.
The event aims to bring policymakers and representatives of higher education institutions together to facilitate a dialogue between them and articulate public policies and institutional practices in supporting the development of students’ 21st-century skills in higher education. It comprises three public webinars and one invitation-only online meeting. The closed meeting targets members of the CERI Governing Board and OECD Education Policy Committees and its subsidiary bodies, higher education policymakers, representatives of higher education institutions, and other higher education stakeholders. The public webinars are open to all. You are invited to participate in all four sessions, or any individual session(s) of your interest. The working language of the conference will be English.
