CAMBODIA, DECEMBER 2018. The EU SPS team attended and presented project’s findings in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Social Protection Council held in Phnom Penh on 4 December. The event was opened by Secretary of State Samheng Boros and Head of cooperation of the EU Delegation Franck Viault. Following the opening remarks, OECD Economist Caroline Tassot presented the main findings of the 2017 Social Protection System Review (SPSR) of Cambodia , and the upcoming ILO-EUSPS joint report on the extension of social insurance for informal workers. The presentations were well received, and were followed by  lively discussions and Q&A session with the council members.
