The Bright and the Dark Sides of Digitalisation: the Corporate and Policy Implications for Investment

Mike Gestrin passed away two years ago. His friends and colleagues, at the OECD and elsewhere, wish to continue to celebrate his curiosity for new interdisciplinary themes with a webinar devoted to investment and digitalisation, a topic about which he was passionate.

The session will examine the Bright and the Dark Sides of Digitalisation: Corporate and Policy Implications for Investment.

Alain Verbeke, Professor of International Business and Strategy, Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, will kick off the discussion by presenting a paper dedicated to Mike Gestrin.

We will also have the participation of Tereza Leme Fleury, President-Elect, Academy of International Business & Afonso Carlos Corrêa Fleury, Professor of Technology, Work and Organisation, University of São Paulo; Andrew Mitchell, Associate Dean (Research), Monash University; and Andrew Wyckoff, OECD Director for Science, Technology and Innovation.
