25 February 2020 OECD Conference Centre, Paris
Concerns about vertical mergers and vertical restraints have occupied an increasing amount of competition authority attention in recent years, particularly in digital sectors. In both types of cases, authorities face several challenges when conducting an effects-based analysis that takes into account the risk of competitive harms as well as potential efficiency effects.
On 25 February 2020 the OECD will hold a one-day workshop in Paris to explore these challenges. The workshop will be an opportunity for competition authorities to share their experiences and discuss with counterparts potential legal and analytical strategies for dealing with vertical mergers and restraints.
This event is by invitation-only and restricted to competition authorities and government representatives. For the latest updates on the OECD Competition work and the OECD Competition Open Day following this workshop, please follow us on the OECD Competition Law and Policy LinkedIn page.
Any questions related to the scope of the workshop should be sent to James Mancini.
Questions regarding registration and logistical details can be sent to Angelique Servin.
Another OECD event will be held on 26 February 2020, back-to-back to this event. For more information please visit:
