The OECD Meeting of High-Level Representatives of Asia-Pacific Competition Authorities is a unique annual gathering of the heads and senior representatives of competition agencies throughout Asia-Pacific that aims to further the exchange of knowledge, experience and expertise at the highest levels of antitrust regulation and enforcement.

The summit offers senior regulators the opportunity to share and develop their practice and application of competition law and policy, and to generate fresh ways of thinking about existing and novel challenges that face the regulatory community in the Asia-Pacific region, with the support of the OECD.

 

 

2022 MEETING DISCUSSES INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION AND GENDER CONSIDERATIONS

30 November 2022 - The 7th edition of this meeting will focus on International Cooperation and how it will be Key for next steps in competition enforcement. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss how gender can be taken into consideration by competition authorities.

 

 

PREVIOUS MEETINGS 

Previous editions have discussed topics such as Competition in a time of Crisis, Prioritisation, Competitive Neutrality, Competition issues in Digital Markets and Competition Reactions to the Covid-19.

The meeting of High-Level Representatives of Asia-Pacific Competition Authorities has been held in a virtual format since 2020, but is expected to transition into a face-to-face event in the coming years as the most important regional summit dedicated to competition issues, drawing the most senior and influential competition enforcement officials in Asia-Pacific.
