On 17 April 2014, the Joint OECD/AfDB Initiative to Support Business Integrity and Anti-Bribery Efforts in Africa held a meeting at the OECD in Paris with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs from Joint Initiative participating countries, represented by their local embassies. This included government representatives from 13 countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania and Zambia).

The main outcomes of the meeting included updating the Ministries of the work of the Joint Initiative, and the development of a practical Anti-Bribery Guidance and Compliance Handbook for African Companies tailored specifically to the corruption risk profiles of Joint Initiative member countries.
