The Economic Survey examines Viet Nam’s remarkable social progress over recent years and its recovery from the COVID-19 crisis, and it discusses ways to address internal and external challenges, from an ageing population to surging global inflation. A special chapter looks at how accelerating the digital and green transitions could strengthen Viet Nam’s emergence as a global manufacturing hub.
OECD Acting Deputy Director of Country Studies Vincent Koen will present the Survey’s key findings and recommendations, and take questions, alongside H.E. Mr. Do Thanh Trung, Vice Minister of Planning and Investment, from 09:00 to 11:00 on Wednesday 26 April at the Grand Hall of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (6B Hoàng Diệu, Quán Thánh, Ba Đình, Ha Noi).
Working with over 100 countries, the OECD is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
