Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 8-9 February 2016 on an official visit. He delivered a keynote speech at the 4th World Government Summit 2016: Shaping Future Government, in Dubai.

While in Dubai, the Secretary-General held several bilateral meetings with the authorities of the UAE. He also launched the OECD Global Platform for Governance of the Future.

In Abu Dhabi, Mr. Gurría delivered a keynote speech at the Arab Regulators Corporate Governance Forum on raising the bar for corporate governance in the Arab region hosted by the Arab Monetary Fund and the Union of Arab Securities Authorities.
