Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Tunisia, on an official visit, on 10 March 2015.


The Secretary-General opened a high-level seminar by presenting the OECD Better Policies Series report Tunisia - A Reform Agenda to Support Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth as well as “Investing in Youth: Tunisia”, “Policy Framework for Investment: Tunisia in Global Value Chains” and “OECD Public Governance Reviews: Open Government in Tunisia". This seminar kicked off OECD Days in Tunisia, a series of events from 10-13 March.


In Tunis, Mr. Gurría also held bilateral meetings with Mr. Beji Caid Essebsi, President of the Republic; Mr. Habib Essid, Head of Government; and several other Ministers and high-level officials.
