The Department for International Development (DFID) has produced a series of briefing papers based on the OECD-DAC Principles for good international engagement in fragile states and situations.

The 2010 edition of “Ensuring Fragile States Are Not Left Behind” highlights disappointing aid to fragile states projections overall (with wide variations across countries), just as fragile states are being hit by the triple food, fuel and financial crisis.
