About the initiative
Countries in the Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia Pacific have resolved to cooperate in the fight against corruption as early as 1999, when they launched the Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific under the joint leadership of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Leveraging open source intelligence, whistleblower protection and reporting, and investigative journalism to combat corruption in times of crisis18 December 2020 This webinar for members of the Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific Law Enforcement Officials’ Network was organaised to help equip law enforcement officials working on transnational corruption cases to better detect, investigate and sanction corruption in times of crisis, through the use of open source intelligence, whistleblower reporting and investigative journalism. Jointly organised by the OECD and the American Bar Association, this event brought together expert speakers from law enforcement agencies across the Asia-Pacific region, along with whistleblowers and investigative journalists.
