Deadline for comment: Now closed

The OECD made the draft text of the revised OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises available for public comment between May and September 2014. The public consultation closed on 8 September 2014. Download comments received.

The Guidelines are being reviewed and revised in 2014 to take into account developments since their adoption in 2005 and the experiences of the growing number of countries that have taken steps to implement them.

The revision process is undertaken by the OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices. It involves extensive consultations with business and labour representatives, civil society, the OECD's partner countries and other interested stakeholders.
