KOREA, 12-17 APRIL 2015 The 7th World Water Forum on the theme of “Water for Our Future” took place from 12 to 17 April 2015 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea.
The OECD Secretary-General, Angel Gurría, chaired several high-level panels and the OECD participated through a series of events and by taking part in a number of workshops and seminars throughout the forum.

Daegu Multi-stakeholder Declaration The Daegu Multi-stakeholder Declaration on the draft OECD Principles on Water Governance was handed to the OECD's Secretary General Angel Gurría at the 7th World Water Forum on 13 April 2015. It gathers 65 signatures from organisations of the public, private and non-profit sectors, major groups and individuals, actively engaged in the OECD Water Governance Initiative, in support of the OECD Principles on Water Governance.

SESSIONS High-level panel on the OECD Principles on Water Governance The session Principles on Water Governance: from Vision to Action provided a platform for multi-stakeholder experience-sharing on the building blocks of good governance covered in the draft 12 Principles. The session was composed of a high-level kick-off panel under the auspices of OECD’s Secretary General, and followed by lively debates and discussions with the audience during roundtables around each of the Principles.
Water Governance sessions in full The OECD co-ordinated the 'Effective Governance' group of the Thematic Process, with the support of key partners (ASTEE/IWA, OIeau/INBO, UNESCO-IHP, Suez Environment, SIWI, WIN and Transparency International, FAO, WBCSD, Water Youth Network, K-Water and Asan Institute for Policy Studies).
