About pre-conference workshops

The OECD has recently opened a Venice-based office following a partnership with the Fondazione di Venezia to focus on the analysis of culture as a driver of local development. As part of this partnership, the Foundation and the OECD have designed a series of thematic monthly workshops in the lead up to the main Conference in December.

Why attend?

The workshops aim to improve understanding of challenges and emerging trends in this area. They will provide a platform for experts, policy makers and business representatives to exchange ideas and identify solutions. They will serve as an opportunity to bring together local needs and the best ideas and practices emerging from academic analysis and research, as well as qualified international experiences.

The seminars are organised at the headquarters of the Foundation of Venice (Dorsoduro 3488/U, 30123 VENEZIA). Participation to the seminars is subject to registration, up to a maximum of 40 participants. If you are interested, please contact us at
