The Development Centre's Governing Board comprises 49 countries, of which 27 are OECD members and 22 are developing and emerging economies. The European Union also takes part in the work of the Governing Board. The Governing Board is chaired by Mr. Pierre Duquesne, Ambassador of France to the OECD. Mr. Duquesne was designated Chair by Governing Board Members at a Special Session of the Board on 20 July 2015.
