Official visit of the Secretary-General to Indonesia (Jakarta, 1 November 2010)


During his second official visit to Indonesia, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría met in Jakarta with:

  • Prof. Dr. Boediono, Vice President of Indonesia
  • Mr. Agus DW Martowardojo, Minister of Finance
  • Dr. Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister of Trade
  • Mr. Hatta Radjasa, Minister for Economic Coordination Affairs
  • Dr. Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister of Trade
  • Mr. Gita Wirjawan, Head of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)
  • Dr. Darmin Nasution, Governor of the Central Bank
  • Mr. Fauzi Bowo, Governor of Jakarta

They discussed the country's economic situation and prospects, notably the findings of the OECD Economic Survey of Indonesia and the Investment Policy Review of Indonesia  Mr. Gurría also held a joint press conference in Jakarta with the Minister of Finance and the Co-ordinating Minister for Economic Coordination Affairs for the release of the Economic Survey and Investment Policy Review.
