Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, delivered a video message at the opening of the High Level Meeting of Experts on the establishment of a Global Fund "Social Protection for All”, on 22 September 2020, convened by the French government & the UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights.


The Meeting gathered all actors willing to explore ways and means to initiate new action to reduce the social protection coverage gap. Governments and representatives of developments agencies, international social partners, regional and international organizations such as  the World Bank Group, the OECD and the ILO, under the Chatham House Rule, will seek to inform the discussions at political level, including in the framework of the G20 Leaders Summit.
