Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Madrid, on an Official Visit in Spain, from 13 to 17 May 2021.

In Madrid, the Secretary-General delivered remarks (also available in Spanish) at the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI) and signed a letter of intent with OEI.

Mr. Angel Gurría also attended the Congress on competitive social transformation of the Consejo Empresarial Alianza por Iberoamerica (CEAPI).

While in Spain, the Secretary-General held bilateral meetings with Felipe VI, His Majesty the King, Mr. Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister of Spain, and several Ministers and high-level authorities.
