OECD Water Days 2021

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, participated in several events of the OECD Water Days, which took place from 22 to 26 March 2021. Organised under the theme of valuing water, the OECD Water Days included a series of virtual events.

The Secretary-General delivered a speech to launch the Toolkit on Recommendations on Water, on 22 March 2021.

He also delivered opening remarks in session 3 Water governance in African Cities, on 24 March 2021 along with Mr. Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Morocco; Mr. Loïc Fauchon, President, World Water Council and Mr. Jean-Pierre Elong Mbassi, Secretary-General, UCLG Africa.

Mr. Angel Gurría also delivered opening remarks in session 4 Water governance in Latin America and the Caribbean, on 25 March 2021, along with Ms Violeta Bermúdez, President of the Council of Ministers, Peru.
