Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, delivered remarks at the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting, on 20 November 2020. The Secretary-General’s speech focused on the state of the global economy and the need to build the foundations for a stronger, more resilient, more inclusive and more sustainable global economy in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. In this regard, he offered recommendations drawn from the just published OECD report New Horizons: Structural Policies for a Strong Recovery and a Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Future.
