Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, at Durham Union event - Building Back Better: The Future of the World Economy, 29 April 2021

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, participated in a meeting organised by the Durham Union Society, a debating society within the University of Durham, on 29 April 2021. During the event, he addressed a group of students on the theme of Building Back Better: The Future of the World Economy and delivered remarks on the effects of COVID-19 on the world economy, the effects of COVID-19 in education and the consequences of learning losses, and the OECD’s vision to “Build Back Better” a greener, more inclusive and more sustainable world economy.
