Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Vilnius on 14-15 March 2016


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Vilnius on 14-15 March 2016, where he presented the 2016 OECD Economic Assessment of Lithuania alongside Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.


While in Vilnius, the Secretary-General held bilateral meetings with Ms. Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Rimantas Šadžius, Minister of Finance, Parliamentarians and Mr. Robertas Dargis, President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.


At Vilnius University, at Saulėtekis (Sunrise) Campus, Mr. Gurría opened the Nature Research Centre, the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology, and the CERN exhibition “Accelerating Science”.
