Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Tokyo on 14-15 April 2015, on an official visit to Japan. He presented the 2015 OECD Economic Survey of Japan and held bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister and several other Ministers. He also met with the Japanese Trade Union Confederation (RENGO) and the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren). In addition, he delivered a keynote speech at the OECD-Keidanren Seminar on Trade and Investment for Growth and Jobs.
While in Tokyo, the Secretary-General also participated in the launch event for the Education 2030 project and delivered a keynote speech at the International Symposium on Corporate Governance and Japan’s Growth Strategy.
