Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Tijuana and San Diego on 10-11 November 2016


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Tijuana on 10 November 2016 to deliver remarks at the Tijuana Innovadora event.


While in Tijuana, the Secretary-General also delivered remarks on the outlook for the Mexican Economy at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California and was granted a Distinguished Visiting Professor Award from the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS Universidad).


Mr. Gurría was also in San Diego on 11 November, where he delivered remarks to students, young entrepreneurs, key business and political leaders, the academic community and civil society at the Institute of the Americas, and received the Global Leadership Award from that institution.
