Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Riyadh from 22 to 23 February 2020


The Secretary-General of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurría, was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 22-23 February 2020 to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meetings (FMCBGM) and the G20 International Taxation Symposium.


At the FMCBGM, the Secretary-General delivered remarks on Global Economy, Enhancing Access to Opportunities, and Tax Challenges Arising from the Digitalization of the Economy.


He also attended the G20 International Taxation Symposium and delivered remarks on Increasing Tax Transparency and Fighting Tax Evasion.


While in Riyadh, Mr. Angel Gurría held several bilateral meetings with high-level authorities attending the events.
