Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Prague on 6 June 2016


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Prague on 6 June 2016, for an official visit to the Czech Republic and to present the OECD 2016 Economic Survey of the Czech Republic.


While in Prague, the Secretary-General delivered remarks at a conference commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Czech Republic’s membership at the OECD: "Czech Republic and the OECD: The Next 20 Years - Better Policies for Better Future".


Mr. Gurría held meetings with Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, several members of his government, as well as Mr. Miroslav Singer, Governor of the Czech National Bank. He also met with Mr. Jan Hamáček, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies.
