Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Mexico on 5-9 December 2014

 

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Mexico from 5 to 9 December 2014. He held bilateral meetings with several Ministers in Mexico City and then proceeded to Veracruz to attend the XXIV Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.

At the Summit, the Secretary-General, alongside Ms. Rebeca Grynspan, Executive Secretary of SEGIB and Mr. Juan Manuel Santos, President of Colombia, launched the OECD Latin American Economic Outlook 2015. In the context of this Summit the Secretary-General also held bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Costa Rica and Perú, and launched a Country Programme for Perú.
