Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Istanbul on 5-6 October 2015


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Istanbul from 5 to 6 October 2015, where he opened the G20/OECD and attended the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting.


At the G20/OECD Global Forum on International Investment, the Secretary-General delivered opening remarks alongside Mr. Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Economic Affairs of Turkey.


At the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting he presented OECD views on how to again kick-start trade and investment as drivers of growth and presented the policy messages from the joint OECD-WBG report “Inclusive Global Value Chains: Policy Options in Trade and Complementary Areas for GVC Integration by Small and Medium Enterprises and Low-Income Developing Countries”.
