OECD Secretary-General in Colombia, 25 October 2013


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, travelled to Colombia on 25 October, at the invitation of Mr. Juan Manuel Santos, President of Colombia. During his stay in Bogota, the Secretary-General met with the President and all Ministers in the Cabinet, as well as with the Vice president of Colombia and Trade Unions.

Alongside President Santos, the Secretary-General delivered remarks at an event following the launch of the roadmap for Colombia’s Membership to the OECD.

The Secretary General also presented, while in Bogota, 3 OECD reviews:

• OECD Reviews of Regulatory Reform - Regulatory Policy in Colombia: “Going Beyond Administrative Simplification”
• OECD Public Governance Reviews - Colombia: Implementing Good Governance
• OECD Reviews of Innovation Policy - Colombia: Overall assessment and Recommendations
