Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Berlin on 21 April 2015 to attend the Conference on “Policy Options for More Investment in Germany and Europe”, where he delivered a keynote speech: “Kick-Starting the Engine: Investment, Jobs and Prosperity”.

While in Berlin, the Secretary-General met with Mr. Sigmar Gabriel, Vice Chancellor of Germany, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy and other high-level officials from Germany. He also held a meeting with Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, EU Vice-President and Commissioner for Budget and Staff.
