Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Addis Ababa on 13-15 July 2015

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 13-15 July 2015 to attend the Third International Conference on Financing for Development. The Secretary-General delivered a speech at the High-Level Round Table on Global Partnership and the Three Dimensions of Sustainable Development. He also delivered remarks at the International Business Forum hosted by the Government of Ethiopia.

 

Mr. Gurría spoke at several events organised in the margins of the conference, including:
 

• The OECD event Strengthening International Development Co-operation to Mobilise International Public Finance for Sustainable Development
    
• The OECD/UNDP launch of the Tax Inspectors without Borders initiative
  
  
• Making the Connection: Linking Transparency and Information Exchange to Domestic Resource Mobilisation
  
  
• Mobilising domestic resources through tackling Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS)

 

While in Addis Ababa, the Secretary-General also held bilateral meetings with several high-level officials from countries and organisations attending the conference.
