Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, honoured at French Senate on 1st June 2015

In the context of the Journée de l’Amérique latine et des Caraïbes, the Secretary-General was awarded the Médaille de la Haute Assemblée by the President of the French Senate Mr. Gérard Larcher, which is given to personalities that have contributed to strengthening the relation between Latin America and France.

Prior to the award ceremony, the Secretary-General participated in a lunch hosted by Mr. Larcher with Ambassadors to France from Latin American countries and delivered short remarks on the ongoing collaboration between the OECD and Latin America.
