Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Beijing, from 20 to 22 October 2014 to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Finance Ministers Meetings. While in Beijing, the Secretary-General opened a seminar organised jointly by the OECD and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People’s Republic of China entitled “China in a Changing Global Environment / Making Inclusive Growth Happen in China”. These discussions informed the development of China’s 13th Five Year Plan. During his visit, Mr. Gurría also held bilateral meetings with Chinese high level officials.
