Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Montreal, 9-11 June 2014


Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Montreal, from 9 to 11 June 2014, to attend the International Economic Forum of the Americas, which will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary.

The Secretary-General will be co-chairing the Conference of Montreal, alongside Mr. Gérard Mestrallet, Chairman and CEO, GDF Suez, and will present there the 2014 OECD Economic Survey of Canada, and the OECD Review of Employment and Skills Strategies in Canada.

He will also deliver remarks at a round-table on Inclusive Growth, a round-table on Innovation and a plenary session on long-term investment.

While in Montreal, the Secretary-General will also hold meetings with Mr. Joe Oliver, Minister of Finance of Canada, Mr. Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade of Canada, and Mr. Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montreal.

The Secretary-General will also speak at a special Board Meeting of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
