OECD Factbook 2009: Quality of life

The OECD's happiest country is Denmark, where nine out of ten people report high satisfaction with their lives compared with only about 2 out of ten in Hungary.

In just under half of OECD countries, at least one out of two adults is overweight or obese. Korea, Switzerland and France are the 'slimmest' OECD countries.

On average in the OECD, three times more men commit suicide than women.
