Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in New York from 18 to 23 September 2016

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in New York from 18 to 23 September 2016 to participate in the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly and the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants.


While in New York, the Secretary-General presented the OECD International Migration Outlook 2016 as well as the OECD African Economic Outlook and the OECD publication States of Fragility 2016: A Violent World. He also delivered remarks at the launch of the report of the UN High Level Commission on Health Employment and Economic Growth, and took part in the launch of the Swedish Prime Minister's Global Deal Initiative.


In New York, the Secretary-General also attended a number of other events and held bilateral meetings with high-level officials.
