OECD's Gurría condemns deadly bombings in Ankara


12/10/15 - OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría has sent letters to the President and Prime Minister of Turkey expressing his condolences and those of all OECD staff following the deadly attacks that took place in Ankara on Saturday.

Speaking from Lima, Mr. Gurría said: “ It was with immense sadness and concern that I learnt of the bombings in Ankara, resulting in the tragic loss of many lives. We categorically condemn this barbaric attack on peaceful demonstrators. Our thoughts and sympathy are with the victims, their families and all those affected. The OECD stands in solidarity with the Turkish people in these terrible circumstances.”
