Trends in Arrangement official export credits (2005-2014)

The following charts and tables provide an overview of basic trends in the volume of export credits from official sources that were provided by OECD member countries during the period 2005-2014. For practical reasons, the scope of official export credit transactions included in the charts and tables is limited to those transactions with a repayment term of two years or more that were provided in conformity with the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits (the “Arrangement”). Although it is the case that all export credits from official sources are supported on Arrangement terms and conditions by the majority of OECD member countries, some countries provide official export credits on other than Arrangement terms and conditions. Since these transactions generally have not been reported according to the agreed individual transaction reporting system, only Arrangement official export credits are presented.

The amounts shown represent value of “committed” credits that were provided directly or that were insured or guaranteed by the official source.
