On 22 June 2005 in Paris, OECD countries and Brazil met to progress the review of the terms and conditions for officially supported export credits for civil aircraft, currently set out in the Sector Understanding on Export Credits for Civil Aircraft - which is Annexed to the Arrangement on Officially Supported export Credits.

The meeting was preceeded by a second consultation meeting with the Aviation Working Group and by a series of technical discussions, which focused on risk-assessment and risk-pricing methodologies, on risk mitigation techniques, and also on repayment term to be used for aircraft financing.

The Parties to the review will meet again in the week of 5 September 2005 to progress the review.

The Parties to the review are Australia, Brazil, Canada, the European Community, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and the United States.
