As part of the OECD accession process, Chile, Estonia, Israel and Slovenia participated in Reviews of Market Openness with the OECD Trade Committee.
This process initiated substantive reviews of trade policy in these four countries, providing opportunities for mutual learning and identification of best practices in trade policy, as well as policy alignment.
These country reviews examine to what extent domestic regulations directly or indirectly distort or facilitate international competition, and suggest policy options to improve the domestic regulatory framework for international trade and investment liberalization.
