The OECD Technical Workshop on the Economics of Regulation brought together experts to discuss how recent developments in the economics of regulation could inform the construction of the STRI in network industries and in sectors characterised by two-sided platforms.

The meeting was composed of three sessions:

  1. Competition in international markets: the case of network industries
  2. Competition in international markets: the case of two-sided platforms
  3. How can insights from recent research on network effects, network externalities and two-sided platforms be taken into account in trade policy analysis?
