During their 93rd Meeting on 2-5 November 2004, the Participants to the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits agreed on a two-year pilot programme which would provide a greater transparency and efficiency in the use of untied ODA credits.

This Draft Sector Understanding represents the state of negotiations reached in November 2000, under the auspices of the OECD, by the Participants to the Arrangement on Export Credits, although a full consensus was not achieved.
Members of the OECD's Working Party on Export Credits and Credit Guarantees and the Participants to the Arrangement pursued the conclusion of several agreements.
