Josefa Monteagudo
Josefa Monteagudo is Head of Sector at the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate of the European Commission, where she works on product market reforms and competitiveness issues. She holds a PhD in Economics from University of California Sand Diego. Before joining the European Commission in 2004 she worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, in Washington DC, as a trade and integration specialist. She has also been a visiting professor at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
